Coming from a screen acting background, Danaë Grieef began her career behind the scenes in 2017, directing multiple productions across stage and screen alike, including the documentary ‘Happy Wasted’ in 2020 on the band Superheist.
 

In 2022, Grieef graduated from Deakin University with an Honours in Film, Television and Animation with a Distinction average.
 

Grieef joined Taymaynari Productions in 2021 and has since been the head production designer on many short films, music videos, and feature films such as ‘Jett’ [2023] and ‘Disconnected’ [2023].
 

Grieef is currently based in Melbourne, Australia
